Our Favourite Autumn/Winter Sustainable Kids Fashion Brands

Autumn is officially here, and for many of us that means updating our wardrobes a wee bit for the colder weather! The same goes for your kids, so we decided to share some of our favourite kids fashion brands this season. These brands all sell sustainable kids clothes, and many are local to the Netherlands! So here, in no particular order, are our favourite kids fashion brands this season!

sustainable kids fashion brands

#1: Grey Label: Organic Apparel for the little Minimalist

Grey Label is an Amsterdam-based organic kids’ clothing store, with a very pure and minimalist feeling and soft colours. We love them as a brand because children are central to everything they do: “we believe children have a primary right to be regarded and respected as the person they are.”, which is something we at Näpp can relate to. They have clothes for newborns to children of around 10 years old, and we love the hooded sweater dresses for girls and the hooded cardigan for boys! Apart from the cutest clothes, they also have organic bed linen, natural perfume for mothers, and natural skincare products!

#2:  BeyaMade: Expandable Clothes That Grow with your Child

BeyaMade is one of our favourites because, as you know, kids grow like crazy and clothes usually don’t. However, BeyaMade designs clothes that grow with your child, so that you don’t need to keep buying more. Designed by a mother who used to work for fast-fashion stores, BeyaMade was born out of a passion to do something good for new parents and young kids. “I sourced only the best, most durable and stain-resistant fabrics from other American manufacturers who had milled more than they needed–transforming these discarded remnants destined for a landfill into heirloom garments for families to treasure for generations.” says founder Laurel. Talk about circular! We love the cute winter rompers, as well as the comfy jumpers she has designed!

#3: Hanna Andersson: Premium Kids Clothes and Matching PJ’s

Hanna Andersson is well known for their super cute pajamas and kids clothes, and nearly all of their clothes are made with fabrics that are Certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, meaning that there are no harmful chemicals that can be found in their products, which we love. They’ve got matching family pajamas for Halloween and Christmas, so if you celebrate those holidays this would be a super cute way to have some fun at home this year!

#4: Colored Organics: It Started With a Mama on a Mission

Focused on being honest, ethical, and absolutely adorable, founder and mum of two Amanda, started Colored Organics to make a difference in the clothing industry. They’re involved with every stage of the production process, to ensure that everything is done sustainably and fairly. The organic cotton that they use is super soft and great for everyone involved: the farmers, the planet, and your little ones! We love the cute cotton and neutral coloured hoodies and sweatshirts, so go check them out today!

#5: Primary: Live Your True Colours

Primary offers colourful eco-friendly kids clothing that are mostly seasonless, gender-neutral, and longlasting. They’re also actively doing more and more work in the areas of sustainability by using only recycled materials in their swimsuits and denim and transitioning to organic cotton. At a reasonably price point, you can buy cute autumn and winter clothes for your little ones knowing they are free of harmless irritants, sustainably sourced, and will last a long time! This defintely is one of our favourite sustainable kids fashion brands!
